Yes, worked this evening at 17:28 gmt A25GF on 50.095 split 1.5 up. He was solid here 559 with a big big pile. Remember to spread a bit and not call all just at +1 up. He has 3 el. and 400 w and will stay until sunday there. GL.

The intentions are to visit A25 (KH22ne) and Z21 (KH22vb) over the period 16 to 23 May 2014. As A25GF on 16 May 14 to 18 May 14 and Z21GF on 19 May 14 to 23 May 14. I will be using a Hy-gain AVQ 640 vertical on 40 to 10m as well as on 6m CW . I will try 6m from time to time on 50.095 CW between 1345Z and 1700Z if all goes well and holiday style operating permits; unless somebody alerts me on HF that there is a band opening at other times. VK9DAC qrv 6 meters 20-27/May

Fred, VK3DAC, will be in Norfolk Island from the 20th until the 27th May operating using the call sign VK9DAC. The trip is to do some bird watching and Amateur Radio operation. In addition he will activate Mt Bates 314m, 4 points VK9/NO-001 for Summits on the Air (SOTA).

Norfolk Island is considered by many as the most beautiful island in the Pacific. It is located off the coast of mainland Australia accessed by a 2 hour flight from Sydney or Brisbane. It is a premier bird watching destination, with many species of seabirds, ancient forests and magnificent scenery.

The equipment he will be taking to Norfolk Island is an Icom IC706MKIIg, 20 amp switch mode power supply, an ATU/antenna analyser and two antennas. The antennas will be a loaded dipole and a 80m dipole wire antenna. For summits on the Air activities I will be using a Yaesu FT 817 with 14v volt LiPo battery and the loaded dipole (Buddipole). He will operate on all HF bands and 6m (qrg 50.150 MHz)

Operators OH0BCI and OG0W will be QRV as OG0W from May 14 to 19. 

Activity will be on 160 to 6 meters using only CW.  QSL direct to OH2BEE.

MM0NDX QRV 6 meters 10-11 May

Christian EA3NT, Vincent F4BKV, Gil F4FET and Col  MM0NDX  will  be active as MX0INT from Longstone, Farne Islands  (EU-109)  on  10-11 May. They plan to operate CW and SSB with 3  or  four  stations  on  the HF bands and 6  meters.  "At  this  stage  it  is  likely  the activation will be during local daylight  hours  only",  they  say, " however we  will  strive  for  a  longer activation period when actually there, working  with  island  representatives.
