new 6 meters Beacon ZB2SIX/B 50.012,5 MHz
New 6 meter beacon
Hi all,
a new six meter beacon has been set up on the rock, this time it's operating from the Gibraltar Amateur Radio Society's club house.
It's operating on 50.012.5 Mhz.
The beacon consists of a Yaesu FT-857 donated by one of our club members John (ZB2JK), 5 watts output into a temporary inverted V dipole .
The call sign is ZB2SIX/B, in IM76HD.
For further info you can look it up on Qrz.com.
