Shane, VK4KHZ, is expected to be active as H44DA and arrive in Honiara on Guadalcanal Island (OC-047), January 6th and depart on January 16th (2011). Activity will be holiday style primarily on 6 meters on a daily basis, subject to favourable conditions, but he will also do some activity on the HF bands as time permits.
He will use a Yaesu FT847 with a 500 watt amp into a 3 element yagi for HF and 3 element yagi for 6m. QSL via VK4KHZ.
