A5, Bhutan, qrv 6 meters 26/9 - 1/10



Pekka, OH1TV will be joining OH2YY for the announced operation from Bhutan [425DXN 1215]. They will be QRV as either A52YY or A52O between 26 September and 1 October; planned activity with two stations on 40, 20, 17, 15, 12 and 10 metres  SSB  and  CW,  using multiband yagis and a dipole or vertical for 40m.  They  will  also have a 3-element yagi for 6 metres. 4W6LU and 4W6DD qrv 6 meters 22-29/September

VU4KV qrv on 6 meters in November



 
There will be a new dxpedition to Andaman (AS-001) and Nicobar (AS-033) in the month of November, 2014. The team is largely the same which was at VU7AG (Lakshadweep Islands 2013), with the addition of new members. The exact dates will be published once the logistics are in place. The call will be VU4KV.

Initially, a short duration activity will be carried out from Campbell Bay in Great Nicobar by few of the team members. This will be followed by a larger activation from Neil Island in the Andamans for at least 10 days.

As published in their web, they will have 6 meters with 500 w and a 5 elements yagi when at Andamans.

ZL7X Chatam Islands QRV 6 meters 11-16/sept.

 

JH1HRJ, JE1SCJ, JH1TXG and JA0VSH will be active from the Chatham Islands as ZL7X between September 11-16, 2014. QRV on 160 - 6 m, CW/SSB/Digi. QSL to JA0VSH (direct/bureau). LoTW and eQSL. [tnx DX World]

ZD9ZS qrv 6 meters 7/9 - 4/10



Paul, ZS1S (ZD9ZS) and a well  known  British  operator  (ZD9  call TBA) will visit and be QRV from Tristan da Cunha  (AF-029)  between early September and early October. They will travel  on  the  South African Antarctic supply ship, the SA Agulhas II. The ship is scheduled to depart on September 4th, arriving Tristan da Cunha four or five days later depending on weather and sea conditions. (It will depart for Gough Island after a few days and return to Tristan da Cunha ready for the scheduled departure on 4th October). There may be an opportunity to operate /MM. A six meter propagation beacon, ZD9SIX will be installed during the time on the island. The finer details will be made known in the next two weeks. [DX World]

 

A25GF again QRV on 6 meters



 
Gert, ZS6AYU, will be visiting Botswana again and will be QRV on 6M only as A25GF from KH22od beaming North. He hope to be on the air from 1300z until around 1900z on 50.097 CW on 1, 2 and 3 Sep 2014. Will QAP and call CQ from time to time just in case there is a band opening.
