wkd dxcc # 206 on 6 m : 7P8Z

7P8Z another great operation from Bernie ZS4TX has given me a new one on 6 meters. Last November I missed him while in XR0ZR, so now it was my time to work him. Condx were not the best with the hill to the south blocking the signal that was s5 few miles away. Finally i got him at 13:16 gmt on cw. TNX BERNIE !!!!!!! my dxcc #206.

This month is the best of this cycle so far, with the band open every day from south Europe to Africa and South America. Some LP openings have occurred from EA7 and CT to JA/BY/HL, we are waiting for them here in north Spain...

Today I have worked 3B8CF and FR5DN for two new DXCC countries on 6 meters, Now I'm 205 worked (with 2 deleted). 
 


Western Sahara ham activity


SARIO - Saguiet al Hamra y Rio de Oro, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded to support the refugees people from the Western Sahara and to promote training and communications proyects between living areas of the Western Sahara and with foreign countries. One of the main functions, is to promote the HAM's activities and other stations, who wanted to stablish their stations across the country in other "wilayas" (province), and mantining the SØRASD's HAM Club's place.

Western Sahara's HAM activity need your support.





I have exchanged mails with Naama, S01A, and he will be this week there. He will do some radio with militar equipment as there are no ham radio available. As an antenna he will use a dipole. They need support with any material or funds to start again ham activity. He will try 6 meters if equipment has it.

Z3/PA3FPQ qrv 6 meters 21-26/May

Operators: Chris PA2CHR, Jurgen PE1LWT and Johan PA3FPQ will be qrv from Macedonia. From 21 till 26 may 2014 they will be operating from KN11BS in Macedonia. QRG will be announced later.

When the moon is below the horizon they will do some MS operation and ofcourse they will look for sporadic-E. Planned bands:
